Posting within Australia

We ship your goods generally using Australia Post Platinum Express with full insurance. Most items will therefore have a registration number and be traceable using the Australia Post website.  Most items will require a signature upon delivery. We will require your email address and mobile telephone number in order to provide full tracking details. 

For online web-shop purchases only, postage is included however we will automatically add a notional $20 to all domestic purchases to cover administration and partial shipping expenses. 

For all other purchases by telephone, email enquiry, etc – postage will be calculated by ourselves and advised to the customer prior to finalisation of the order. Postage will be added to the final price of goods and will include Platinum Express Bag, insurance, signature upon delivery.

Posting Internationally

We ship your goods generally using Australia Post International Express with maximum allowable insurance. We state the actual purchase price on all export documentation. Most items will therefore have a registration number and be traceable using the Australia Post website.  Most items will require a signature upon delivery. We will require your email address and mobile telephone number in order to provide full tracking details. 

For online web-shop purchases only, postage is included however we will automatically add a notional $80 to all international purchases to cover administration and partial shipping expenses

For all other purchases by telephone, email enquiry, etc – postage will be calculated by ourselves and advised to the customer prior to finalisation of the order. Postage will be added to the final price of goods and will include International Express Bag, insurance, signature upon delivery, Export Documentation Number (EDN) creation. Note that any importation costs charged by the destination country will be at the customer’s expense, and DTEO makes no representations as to what these charges may be.

Insurance

We insure all goods against loss or damage whilst they are in transit. Once your order has been shipped, we guarantee delivery unless the address you have supplied is incorrect, illegible or incomplete, or if the recipient is away or has moved – in which case you will be liable for payment of the purchase price and shipping cost irrespective of whether the order arrives on time or not at all.

In the event of a claim for lost or damaged goods, the purchaser must provide all reasonable assistance in order to satisfy Australia Post and/or our insurer that a claim is valid.
